- 04You really don’t need mascara with your extensions, and waterproof formulas are the main troublemakers. They can shorten retention and make your lashes harder to clean. If you want extra drama, it’s better to choose a fuller set or ask about a style tweak instead of reaching for mascara like it’s a life raft.

- 08You’ll get a professional lash adhesive chosen for secure retention and comfort. We use a Korean-made glue that’s government certified, and if you have sensitive eyes, allergies, or past reactions, let me know before booking so we can check it’s suitable for you. Your eyes are not the place for guesswork... awkward for everyone.

- 13We do not recommend using mechanical eyelash curlers on your Eyelash Extensions as these curlers will damage the extensions and possibly your own natural lashes. The extensions do have a natural curl that most people find to be better than from a eyelash curler. If you want a stronger curl please advise your technician.
- 14The big wins are simple: keep them dry for the first 24 hours, avoid oil-based products around the eyes, don’t rub or pull at them, skip mechanical curlers, and brush them gently with a clean spoolie. If you swim, rinse with fresh water afterwards. Treat them kindly and they’ll stay prettier for longer — rebellious little things that they are.
- 15Lash extensions may not be suitable if you’re allergic to adhesives, tapes, or band aids, if you have an eye infection or irritation, or if you’ve had recent treatments such as chemotherapy within the last 6 months, LASIK less than 4 months ago (after your post-op exam and medical clearance), or blepharoplasty less than 6 months ago. Pregnancy, thyroid medication, and very oily skin or hair can also affect retention, so it’s best to check with your technician first.
